Our first visit to gator dockside was to meet a group of friends to watch a UFC fight. Our groups age range was from late 20's to early 40's. Right from the beginning this establishment caters to a more younger college crowd. This was fine and expected being in a college town, however there should be a little bit of fairness to all patrons. It was a very packed night and after 2 hours of waiting for a table in addition to hunting for enough chairs to accommodate our party we watched a server seat her friends with little to no wait at all. When we confronted the manager we were given a slight apology and told "she's a friend of the owners and gets away with murder". He said he would talk to her yet he offered no compensation. The friends of this server were rude and at one point even confrontational after my wife accidently bumped into one of them while walking to the restroom. Even this went unnoticed to the management staff. Bad service can be tolerated and bad management can be reported but what do you do with unruley customers that seem to be protected by the staff? Even though the food was great it was like having dinner in a playground with ill-mannered children.

I was really dissapointed with the food here, a small portion for the quesadilla should have ordered three meals instead of one. On my way to Calico Jack's.

Been here a few times. Never had a problem with the staff. Food is below average and the draft beer was $2.50 NOT $1.00 as shown on this site. Baby back ribs are far from tender and on All-U-cans-eat wing night the wings were coming out cold. Overall the place can be tolerated but it's not on my list of places that I plan on being regular in.

I have eaten here several time and I have yet to be impressed. The TV's need major work and the wait staff seemed clueless on gamedays.

Big and Slow
Worst place in town to watch a game. The T.V.'s are out of focus and the service is slow. Food is average at best.

Best wings and atmosphere
They had some trouble with service when they opened, but the kinks have been worked out. They have some of the best wings in town with a great variety of sauces. Getting pints of beer is the most efficient way to drink beer there. They have a decent variety of beer on tap. If you go during a sporting event, they are packed...so the service is slower, but what place wouldn"t be? Go there..it"s fun!

Dockside...Yet no where near the water....
First of all, it"s not dockside. Its in a freakin" strip mall. So the marketing dept should be smacked for that. The service is pretty slow and food is decent. The projection TV"s are old and seem out of focus. It won"t be the worst experience you ever have, but it really won"t be the best either.

good place
I go almost every Thursday and the staff is excellent along with the drinks and atmosphere. It is probably the best Ladies Night I have ever been to.
