i just think that dougherty's should stop selling carryout. period. 9$ for a six(6) pack of yeungling. someone should be drawn and quartered. Perhaps two weeks prior the price was just 7$. I've found dougherty's to be a place to get a decent black and blue burger with very good bartenders. As for all else, well, it's your typical hole-in-the-wall irish pub. Lots of charm, lots of mice.

This place is horrible! Bad service, spoiled beer mice and a horrible juke box. After having a beer I could taste it coming up. The server sat at a booth text messaging while my friends and i were waiting on her. I understand mice are an issue in Baltimore, but when their poo is on the table.... Send over a busboy, not a horrible server.

This establishment is not for everyone
If you are a person who believes that you should receive good service from the staff and when the service is poor that the management should support the customer then this is not a place for you to go. I went to this bar/restaurant with two other friends we came in laughing because we were in good spirits and wanted to have a good time. Our waitress was horrible. She spent more time taking personal phone calls on her cell phone than she did trying to service customers. When we would try and summon her she would either ignore us or walk in the other direction. When we were really fed up with this insulting behavior and asked for the manager we received word from our waitress that our meal and food was free and if we didn't like the service then we should not return. This is a place that my friends and I had patronized for years without incident; however, when management does not value the customers we feel as though we as customers should no longer patronize their establishment. I would suggest that if you plan or going to this Pub that you go without expectation of receiving good service and know that if you have a complaint about the service that management believes you should take your business elsewhere.

Something for everyone
Dougherty's is a great place to meet with friends and hang out. I love this place! You can drink bottled beer, beer on tap or order cocktails. They have a full service kitchen serving basic Pub fare. They have two pool tables in the backroom and a small jukebox. Out in the main bar, you'll see monthly showings from local artists. It can be quite crowded on the weekends but it is arguably the cheapest place to drink in Baltimore! One drawback, it is also the smokiest bar in Baltimore!
